I'm seeking financial backers to open a new BDSM location. It isn't a hang out place, and there are no dancers. It's unlike any other BDSM location in SL. I'd give out more information, but due to the impossibility of copyrighting My ideas, I'd prefer to keep them confidential. I can assure you that this is an excellent opportunity and can give references. I will speak one on one with anyone that is interested. I am looking for a silent partner who will receive a percentage of the income, either until the money is paid back or we co-own the place and share the profits. Please contact Me via SadisticDaddy Hartshon on SL for more information. I will need to discuss this information in depth. So, if you are looking to copy My ideas, trust Me, I'll know better.
Signed,
SD

Unlike any other in SL? Any elaboration at all on that bit at least? I mean c'mon... the variety of existing establishments is ginormous.

Elaboration on the subject would put Me in a position to have My ideas used, and I'd rather not allow that to happen. I will be more than glad to elaborate to those who are truly interested within SL, but not here.
And, thanks for the eye roll. Real appropriate...

From: SadisticDaddy Hartshon Seems to be a theme... Probably largely driven by: - you're brand new - you've never posted, except in this thread - people who know just how innovative the BDSM crowd can be and are suspicious of the 'unlike any other!' bit - you're asking for money

Here' s my two cents worth...I know this person in SL and yes he maybe "new" but his idea is something ive not seen in SL in the year and a half ive been inworld. Unfortunately I cannot financially back him but I damn sure will help him in anyway I can. Instead of eye rolling perhaps you should contact him and check his plan out......

I agree completely with the last post. I had never even met Sadistic until I saw this post but I did message him to get info about what he was wanting to do and it definitely is unique and something that will be amazing once it is accomplished and can bring in a great deal of profit. So quit dissing him here. If you aren't interested, then simple, don't reply at all. But, if you are interested, I definitely recommend that you message him as soon as possible because this project is going to be huge.

Hmm maybe it's just me, but I've never heard anyone shamelessly praise someone else like that without them either having a gun to their heads or a few coins coming under the table, although in this case the latter would be the most likely.. Or maybe it's couple of alts used to support himself. Under any circumstances I wouldn't really trust people who's capable of saying "message him as soon as possible because this project is going to be huge." about someone else's project, apparently without themselves having part in it.. that is just very unusual, but I guess to be fair it wouldn't hurt to ask him, just don't believe anything without knowing for sure.

No Anee, no gun, no coinage, no alt...I just met SadisticDaddy this last week inworld, hes got a good idea and im willing to support it at no benefit to myself personally. Again if I could invest financially I would, unfortunately I am unable to at this time...I will however support him in any way I can be it thru this forum or providing any type of manual assistance inworld...

Well.. when someone acts suspiciously nice and kind without any particular reason for it my scam filter freaks out, but fortunately I can't afford any financial backing up either, so whatever it's not for me to decide

There are lots of things that would be unique to SL and just not work - at all.
But as someone above mentioned, it is rather dull when someone brand new to the forum asks for money for their grandiose idea that no one can know about because it might get taken, but they will tell you in world if you message them.
Work the world - network - earn the trust of people - share your ideas with your friends and acquaintances and maybe one or many of them will support you. After all, it is the way the first Island Estate mall came into existence: Support of friends who thought it could work - not blindly asking strangers.

Thanks to the two that backed Me. I truly appreciate it.
First of all, those aren't alternate personalities. This is all that I am. I know for a fact that I have a great idea and that's why I can come and so easily discuss it. I refuse to give details just so that the millionaires in SL can do exactly as I want done for MYSELF.
Newbie or not, eye rolling and child like banter isn't helping. Just ignore My posts from here on out and there will be no issues.
I will find financial backers, loaners, and / or secret partners regardless.
My question to you is: Why would anyone be so ignorant as to put out all of their ideas in an open MAIN SL forum for the taking? That's ignorance.
I have none.

Actually we're doing you a favor.. look how many views you've got But of course you're right you wouldn't go around revealing all of your genius here, the problem is just that every scammer would use the exact same approach and that's what makes it slightly obscure you could say.

Ding! Ding! Ring the bells! Someone has a new idea that's never been done before in SL! It's a Christmas miracle it is!
As pessimistic as I love to be, somehow, I think you will find soon enough that it's been done. But go ahead and surprise us.
