Finance Position

Hello. I have been in SL from 2006-2007 and now have an avatar that was born 09-23-2008. I am currently seeking an Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Management position. In RL, I have an Associate degree in Accounting, Certificate in Bookkeeping, and currently going to school through online courses for a Bachelor in Business Administration. I am hoping to find a position in SL that utilizes those skills. I know it is a long shot, but, I figured it was worth a shot to see if something like this is needed. The problem you may have is not many businesses are comfortable in sharing their income with others in SL.

I for example hired an "in world" accountant, an apparent U.S retired vet and he tried to go up against me as a competitor and steal TRUs artists!

He didnt succeed.

But then he came back as an artist under a different ID and AV, claimed he was French and going to college.. one of the artists informed me it was the same " US vet" I hired as an accountant and when asked he admitted it.

I kept him on as an artist until I noticed he had used some of my own textures and modified them somewhat and was selling them on SLX and his store...when asked to see the original file he worked from he claimed the customer passed them onto him...and abruptly left!

So the issue is, if you want to be an accountant - book keeper its best not be be an existing SL resident. You are no threat then ( really )

Maybe I am wrong but my experience taught me never to share your sales figures with in world avatars again!

But I am sure there are business managers required. I have one albiet I have to let her go due to the recession. SL is facing hard times by and large so that may be another thing working against you sadly.
