With no skills since I'm new to the game its hard to find a job where you can earn your first Linden. I would take any number of jobs to get started and if you have a steady job to offer that is fine too. My hours now during summer online is mostly after 7 pm my time (GMT +1). When summer is over I can spend more hours online mainly from 9 am my time.
About me: - I'm a fast learner. Meaning that after I've made myself some Linden I can attend classes and evolve my skills so I can do my job better. - 1 days old (SL). Just heard about the game and rushed to DL. Been online since. - Have a child in RL. Might have to stay off for some time for different reasons, but rush to get back on as soon as I can. - Eager to do my very best at work. That includes that I would also be willing to change my appearance. - I'm looking for PG, Mature and Adult (I am age veryfied).
About you: - You must run a serious business or make an serious suggestion. - Your business can be well established or just created (I would love to be part of a new business and seeing it grow). - You must have any openings in your business for work hours that I can work with my timezone. - You must be flexible, things can happen in RL that stop me from going online. - You have to be clear of what you want me to do at work so we don't have any misunderstanding about whats expected of me and not.
You can contact me online, send me an IM or leave a notecard.
Hope to see you soon!

Hi, Lashly.
No job to offer (sorry) but I did want to point out there are many free classes and tutorials on the grid, so it may not be necessary to earn any lindens before learning new SL skills.
For free tutorials, check out the Ivory Tower of Prims, the Particle Laboratory, and Robin Wood's Texture Tutorial in-world. (I can drop some LMs on you later today, I think.) All are completely free, and self-paced so you can explore them in your own time.
For classes, pull up the Search menu and to to the Events tab. Select Educational in the drop-down, and scroll through what it picks up. There's a lot of spam on there, but once you find a class you can frequently join the group that teaches it, and then you'll get announcements of when classes are. Most building classes are an hour long and don't require any pre-registration, so there's no advance commitment. Most classes are free, though tips are appreciated if you have L$.
In the same tab, you can also choose Nightlife/Entertainment and check out the club scene - many in-world jobs are club jobs. There places where you can learn to hostess, but you can pick up a lot just by dropping by events and watching how the staff handle things. (I'd be glad to have you drop by an event I'm hosting - just let me know if you think you'd be interested in doing that.) The only problem with hosting is that it usually requires an advance commitment for two or sometimes three hours.
Since you're new, I'll also point out that it is not necessary to have a job, or even any lindens to explore, find items to wear (if you want, I'll also send you some landmarks to locations where you can find some very nice freebies) and attend most events.
Sorry this got a little long. Welcome to Second Life!

Hi Lashy, I don't know if you have any interest in acting but I am casting for my upcoming short series called The Bloodline and it's very easy work. Please contact me in game if you're interested in being an extra or possibly a lead.

I tried to send a private message. But, it says you aren't accepting them. I will be online tonight if you are able to come on and talk.

You might want to post what kind of money you are looking to make... Your post sounds like you intend to make a living from SL...
