Maui Beach Bar ~ Cafe is looking for a Manager/DJ or Manager/Hostess to run the club.
ABOUT US
Maui Beach Bar ~ Cafe is a laid back bar, set in a charming residential beach community, with an emphasis on great music and a fun crowd. Though we may enjoy some frisky banter, we are not a sex club; we don’t even have dance poles, and don’t want them.
Our bar ~ cafe already has everything you will need to run events: dance ball, slow dances, DJ stage, contest board, bar with animations, food and drink dispenser, sploder, and even a Zyngo game sitting on the bar.
There are vendor booths just outside the bar. There are 7Seas Fishing contests held, at the bay just off the cafe porch, that will bring some traffic to the bar. There is already a group, Maui Beach Bar ~ Cafe, with a good number of members – the manager would naturally have permissions to send group notices.
THE MANAGER JOB
This is a great opportunity for anyone with an entrepreneurial mind set who would, also, enjoy running a club. The more effort you put in the more Linden you will make. Though the title is "Manager' really you are running your own business, without any overhead as everything is provided. The own does not expect to make anything from the club, only to provide residents a fun place to hang out.
As manager you will keep 100% of tips earned from DJing or hosting. You will earn 10% of all tips received by other employees working at the bar ~ cafe. You will earn 50$L a wk for each rented vendor booth, for as long as each booth remains full (it will be part of your job to promote and fill the booths; though the owner will regularly advertise their availability in forums and classified).
Though Maui Beach Bar has been a classic rock club, you do not have to play rock if you feel something else would be more popular (or you just prefer a different kind of music) but whatever genre you like to play, the music should be what draws people to our bar ~ cafe, along with fun the personalities of the staff.
As manager you should be completely self-sufficient, running the club without the owner’s regular participation. The manager will be given administrative permissions as needed.
The manager will be expected to invest in the events they hold by putting up contest money (usually the 10% cut of employee’s tips goes toward contests), or by soliciting merchants to provide contest funds for free advertising announcements.
The manager would be expected to do all the free advertising in events and forums (SL website, XStreet, SLUniverse) and of course group notices.
