Open letter to all,
I came to SL with such eagerness, hope and force,
SL at the time, was the perfect platform for such a overcreative
designer and visionary like myself.
I'm unemployed and living on wellfair, struggle for a long
time of isolation and depression, SL sparked my lust and love for
creation, seeking attention, acknowledgment, friends and feel worthy,
be part of something that I lack in real life.
Did not take a long time before I ran straight into the wall,
got blinded of selling things and earn linden, art and basic
simple things that got overpriced, also created videogallery
to show my lust for videomedia, no one came.
All lead up to a huge frustrations and further
into loading myself and lowered my selfasteem.
Over eager and blinded, did many mistakes as many goes trough
coming into secondlife without guides. No patients further brought
me down into thinking Im not worth someting, starting buisness's
that never got any appraisals. My head so far down the sand.
Handfull few very good friends I came to know here, supported me
and eventually I saw the light, what secondlife is, should be and can be.
Saw what secondlife should be for me, and me to it.
As my economy is on wellfair, my grandios heart of now wanting to be a
huge humanitarian and help others, build free experiances for all,
create free housing rentals, art & video gallerias, romance parks etc etc etc
will not be a reality, to be honest and realist, it can not be done without
contacts or a big wallet.
Walking trough secondlife seeing the diversity and huge ammount
of variations is so great, I realy love the seeing the passion so many
of you put into your projects.
Then seeing the money greed, greifers and scammers, breaks my heart.
I myself was about to becom one, it is fairly easy just to be egocentric in SL.
So why do I write this little announcement,
I'm leaving SL, and just hope and wish
that your take the time to think twice on what your doing,
dont be egocentric, take time in thanking a creator online.
Please be fair and give something back !
I still think SL is the best platform for me,
perhaps visit from time to time on alts,
this one is about to be deleted,
as I can not afford to have it or own land.
As some of you who know me,
know that I sure will be back
one form or other, as I burn for creation.
For now, be excellent to each other !

Listen I work in the RL industry of finding people employment....You are not the only one out there that is suffering from hard times, we all are. Even employed people are suffering from hard times. DO NOT USE SL FOR CHARITY CASES FOR YOURSELF. SL is only for entertainment purposes, begging for money is extremely pathetic when it could be so much worse for you. Get over it, find a job and be glad of what you do have.

I'm very sorry to hear about your troubles. I know sometimes it's hard to get started in SL, but maybe you can downsize and just start our slowly. It's troubled times for alot of people. Don't get down on yourself, though, it's tough to make it anywhere these days. I wish you many blessings in this coming year, as it seems you have a good heart. If you ever need any help at all, please contact me in world, I'd be glad to help you any way I can. Just hang in there!

Erik! You have so many wonderful ideas and aspirations... one of the few people I've met with such ambition and outgoing friendliness... I'm sorry to see you go, and I do hope you change your mind. You'd make a great estate manager, landscaper, sim designer... and many other things. Oh, I also owe you some $L for the assistance while I was away. funny how people jump on a person. the note doesnt ask anyone for money. i think post is in the wrong forum. it is sad really to see the descent of someones experience go to that level. your self worth is already in tact, "worth more than the birds of the air" someone ancient once said. hope you come back shining brighter than ever,
