I may be a bit out of touch on the pay rates but L$20 an hour going on the current average exchange rate of L$265 to the $ is only $0.08 an hour?

20 lindens per hour isnt much... but it does depend on how the job progresses as far as raises and the nature of tips i.e. are there any? if there arent and no tips then that person is pretty much making camping wages. so if thats the case they should be learning some extraordinary skills.
remember low wage jobs should offer the following:
frequent raises bonuses tips to compensate learning that is worth the low wage example: internship, schooling, learning a vital trade benefits that also justify a low/reduced wage

From: Tan Tantalus I may be a bit out of touch on the pay rates but L$20 an hour going on the current average exchange rate of L$265 to the $ is only $0.08 an hour? I Am Looking For Slingo hosts that will stay and make money even if there is no one playing. If there are people playing the game then you can make tips + 5 Lindens for every player for every game. Each games lasts about 5 minutes so a Host could make 75+ Lindens for a 5 minutes game With 15 players. So the rate of pay goes up considerably. I require that the hosts wait 5 minutes before starting the new game so other players can join in. A Host could run 5 games an hour. 75 X 5 = 375 <- that does not include any tip the host makes So (375 x 2) + 40 = 790 For 2 hours work And still that is not with tips included. I guess that is just a little more that you were complaining about

Well unless you don't plan on allowing your players more then 5 seconds to mark their cards... yeah you can run 5 games in an hour. Your players will never come back though.
Sounds more like a cheating method to take money from people who want to have fun.
Multi Player DMC is a seriously prim heavy game and lags down any land, private island/sim or not. Each one of those cards is 34 prims. Add people to that equation and you have even more lag. Add clothing, bling, scripts, etc... on their avi's... more lag.
The bottom line is, Slingo is NOT a slow game to run or play.
So take it from someone who has been running Multi Player DMC for 2 years now... to run an honest, fair and fun game, max amount of games should be 3 per hour.
