Cove Islands is a 32 sim estate selling high end residential and commerce/commercial private estate land.

We currently have in excess of 300 residents and now seek staff to assist in the day to day support and assistance of these residents. This is NOT a commission based role and staff will be paid a monthly salary as well as receiving a tier free land allowance. See below for further details.

Duties will include:-

- Answering group IMs requesting assistance.
- Answering personal IMs requesting assistance.
- Answering presales enquiries that come through our support HUD system.
- Answering general land related questions from potential buyers.
- Answering support tickets through our support site.
- Using the Cove Islands admin site to follow up some support requests.

Requests that come through range from general land related questions to specific transactions queries, to group invitation requests and many others.

Cove Islands has procedures in place to ensure the smooth day to day running of support, the sims themselves and also a detailed admin system (to which you will receive limited access). The successful candidates will receive full training in all aspects of their role.

The Successful Candidate must:-

- Have spent a minimum of three months in game on their CURRENT avatar.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the land buying system in Second Life, including the differences between private estate and mainland.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the ‘About Land’ panel and all parcel settings.
- Spend typically 4 - 5 hours per day in Second Life (high end users).
- Be prepared for the fact that our residents may IM at any time during a day.
- Experience in a support related role (eg CSR for another company or Second Life mentor) preferred though not essential.

Payment:-

- Support staff will receive L$ 6000 per month paid on 1st of each month.
- In addition, after the first month of employment, staff will receive a 4096sqm residential parcel of their choice at no cost and they will NOT be required to pay tier on this. This parcel will remain tier free for the entire duration of employment.
