CLUB MERIDIAN... a fun, growing, pumpin' Electronic/House/Trance club is looking for HOSTS and 1-2 SHIFT MANAGERS.
Currently we have live DJs every day, for 3 shifts a day: from 12-2 pm, 2-4 pm, and 4-6 pm SLT. We need of hosts for all three shifts.
HOST DUTIES include: Sending notices and announcing the event; greeting and talking to people and making them feel welcome; adding people to the group; helping to create the crowd and keep things entertaining.
Experience is preferred, but we will training people with the right attitude. Must be 30 days old with decent AV appearance, and have a good English skills.
Compensation is 100% tips. Proven hosts also have the ability to be promoted to Shift Manager.

SHIFT MANAGER DUTIES include: Making sure that all things go smoothly during a DJ shift at Club Meridian: check that the stream is working for the DJs, making sure the shift gets properly publicized (that notices and group IMs are sent); finding fill-in hosts and DJs if either the scheduled host or DJ is not able to make the shift; deal with griefers. A Shift Manager should also be available to host if no other host is available to fill in the spot.
Experience in working in a club in SL is required for the Shift Manager position; you should be organized, reliable, have some experience in hosting and be at least 60 days old.
Compensation: Salary (to be discussed) per shift - or - a significant reduction in cost of renting a home at Meridian Estates. If hosting as well, 100% tips on top of salary.
