Hi there I'm thinking seriously of starting a sl magazine about modern design / architecture / fashion in secondlife. I'm aware there are currently many good magazines, certainly covering fashion, but i am interested in starting one for architecture and design. At the moment its very much an idea but im looking for invididual(s) that would be interested in joining me with it. At the moment im really looking for someone that is willing to help me get this moving as its alot to manage for one person. Bare in mind i dont intend this to get commercial... although if it succeeds there would be some money coming from it, although thats way ahead. If you want to hear more... reply to this and ill get back to you *or* IM me Jo Newell, in game... im on far too much so... Thanks

Hi Jo,
I am an Art Student, University of the Arts London, Being a student at Camberwell means that i am familiar with artistry - The Art and Science of Colour. I have read several books on Gothic Architecture. And just love traveling, particularly around New Zealand. **Great views**
If i were to spend one day in Milan, Europe's creative capital, then i would kick-start the day with an espresso at Zucca in Galleria at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
I always find that a morning of art provides an inspiring start to the day, and never tire of visiting Da Vinci's magnificent, Last Supper.
The Pinacoteca de Brera is equally irresistible, with its wonderful Raphael's, Bellini's, and Caravaggio's. Or if I'm in the mood for something more modern I'll head to the Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea. If I'm up for more, I'll stroll down Via Torino to Porta Ticinese and join the locals for a nightcap among the atmospheric columns of San Lorenzo alle Colonne.
Jo I would love to start a magazine with you, and i'm sure i can provide you with some delicious narratives on Neoclassical Architecture inspired by ancient Greece.
I enjoy writing and also reading so i think i would be a good candidate for magazine creation.

You have to choose one--architecture or fashion...you can't have both in one. *lol*, of course, you know that.
I think an Architectural Magazine would be great. I hate to be picky, but make sure whom ever is doing the layout and art direction is skilled...it would be a tragedy to cover something as refined and clean as architecture, and have the magazine layout a mess...
You'll also want a few capable photographers on staff too--one of the more important aspects of an architectural publication are the photographs.
Good luck in your venture...I wish I had time to help.

I am somewhat new, but with technical background. I work in IT in RL, and am grabbing up classes as quickly as I can find them. I have CS3 and am getting the hang of scripting and building. My main goal is to find a project like this. If you have room for me on your team, just im me SL Lysila Denja . I am happy to take direction and if you are willing to guide me on what you need, and I sure I can pick it up fast and make a good contribution to your endeavor.
