We are investigating the benefits and costs resulting from recruiting staff in virtual worlds. Your experiences and knowledge as pioneers in the field will therefore form the basis of our empirical investigation. All answers will be treated confidentially and the data analysis will be done anonymously. The results will only be used for scientific purposes. If you are interested in the results of the study, we would be happy to send you a summary of the outcomes. http://ww3.unipark.de/uc/m_lmu_inst_iom/3ba5/We are very thankful for your collaboration to help us gain new cognitions of the recruitment in virtual worlds! WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!! Best regards, Kiara Seidel

I know that in all probability you do not have English as a first language... but it would help a lot if you were clear about the questionnaire you are asking people to fill in. I assumed that you were after people with experience of working professionally in virtual worlds, when in fact you are looking for people who have participated in a recruitment event in Second Life.
The questionnaire ignored the negative reply I gave to the question about recruitment events in Second Life, and kept on asking me questions I couldn't answer as I have never participated in a recruitment event in SL.
So, folks, if you have not participated in a recruitment event, it is not worth even attempting the questionnaire. Cali
