Computer Club Records is a RL record label, built on DIY (do-it-yourself) ethics and founded in 1999. In 2008, I established a storefront / venue / club for CCR in Second Life. We currently have a staff of 16 DJs - only 5 of which do weekly sets.
We are currently looking to hire DJs interested in doing weekly sets at our club. We're not looking for people only trying to make a few lindens - we're looking for DJs who are passionate about the music they spin, DJs who want to share exciting / quality music with people. We aren't looking for people who spin top 40, or big club hits. We ARE looking for people who spin music in the following genres...that could be considered a little "off the beaten path" (i.e. not typically on mainstream radio, television, etc):
Indie Rock / Electronic / Dance / Experimental / Underground Hip-Hop / Darkwave / Metal (not godsmack-ish metal)
-and subgenres of those genres, as well.
We'd also love to have some people from outside of the United States.
If this sounds interesting to you, IM me and let's talk. I'll send you an application and we can chat about what kind of set you would like to do. Our DJs work for tips, and get to keep 100%.

ps. If you want to take a look at our venue, look up my profile and check out my "picks". The TP will take you to the 2nd floor, our *69 art-space. You can walk down the ramp into the store/venue.
