Hi my name is kelley griffith and along with my partner, Skit Qinan we have started a educational village for new people. We offer very inexpensive places to stay, free classes, and we even have a freebie store.
The village has been doing great, instead of helping new people one on one we are reaching groups of them. Hopefully as they leave they will be feeling so much more confident about SL.
We are always looking for new intructors, mentors, even people to just hang out and answer questions. The problem being we opertate out of pocket at this time, so we can't afford to pay people anywhere near what they are worth. Right now we offer 100L per class ...(usually a hour) and provide you with a state of the art classroom and a tip jar .*L*
The staff we have are all wonderful .. and try to make the village feel like a small community. If you would like to be part of a team .. teach newbies ... and maybe make a few Lindens we would love to hear from you inworld.

Classes we are most hoping to add are classes like a very very very basic scripting type class, clothing, hair, designing your av, maybe a class on computer preferences, starting a business from a-z, maybe a intermediate type building class, as you can see we are open to any suggestions.
