hm. most vehicles are by default operated by the owner, not by a hired driver...
anyways, i'm seriously curious if there is any job in sl at all that doesn't involve spreading your legs and/or bending over, depending on your avis gender.
There are thousands of professions that are in effect to make up what is SL. Saying sex related professions are all you see in SL is just like someone in RL saying retail is the only jobs they see. Look below the surface, find purpose and the sex professions will move out of your field of view.
In relation to driving jobs, it's a little tricky because sim-crossing doesn't work too well with vehicles, also lag is an issue with vehicles. I believe this is why there aren't transport system in SL, people just teleport.
Maybe you could start a limo company? get a vehicle that supports multiple people sitting in it, rent/buy/borrow-from-friend some land, make a course for the journey (around sim for example). Advertise the company on forums/picks/search/classifieds/etc , setup an event with the SL event system so people at that time of day you are on come to your land.
You might be able to find a role-play sim, talk to the owner and offer this service as an attraction, they may setup a small office for you free if you pay them commission each time someone uses your service. (for example have a tip jar in the office that splits 20/80 that the customer pays into prior to the driving ride)
You could even setup a bot to sit in the vehicle and talk crap to passengers while the car went on a scripted rail course, clients paying the starter block to start the mechanism in motion. Although this would be more about the business and not the joy of actually driving since you wouldn't be there. just an idea tho
I remember getting driven around an RP sim on a bus with some people once, it was relaxing, funny and interesting. I have seen this done with boats also. If it's what you enjoy doing and you do it right it should work out well, best of luck to you
(another idea that just came to mind, there are Kart racing places and some racing groups around, perhaps you could work as a manager or customer service at a Kart track which would include allot of zoooming around the track)
