Basic rules:
By joining the Hosoi Design Authorized Affiliate program you agree to work for us as an independent Authorized Affiliate representative. We also ask you to place your vendors at quality locations only. Please create a suitable environment using the items and textures included in this package. You are allowed to place classifieds for your location but please do not try to drain customers from our main store. Be fair both to your customers as to us. We are in this venture together and need to trust eachother. We keep the habbit of checking on our Authorized Affiliates locations and behaviour and remain the right to ban affiliates that do not follow our directions. As a representative of Hosoi design we ask you to always be nice to your visitors. Please assist your customers the best you can. Remember, a hapy customer is always returning for more. In case of failed deliveries or other sales related questions, please stay friendly and redirect the customer to Hosoi Design (Amiryu Hosoi).
HippoVend:
We use HippoVend technology for our Catalog Vendors. A Catalog Vendor updates itself every 72 hours with fresh product information. If it needs to it will also check the live price of a product and its commission rate before allowing a sale. You are not allowed to buy from your own Catalog Vendors and will not get commission if you do. The Catalog Vendors check for valid sales only. The Hippovend Catalog Vendors will deduct 1.5% off the top of the sale first. After that 30% will be transfered to the affiliates account. The rest will go to Hosoi Design.
Holo Vendors:
In some of our Affiliate Vendor Packages you will also find so called Holo Vendors. Holo Vendors rezz a model of the active item in front of the vendor for your customers to actually inspect the item in 3D. Make sure when setting up vendors to check if the vertical position of the vendor is not to close by the floor. The rezzed models could end up in the floor if the vendor is placed to close to the floor.
Hosoi Affiliates Group:
Before you can start setting up your Catalog Vendors make sure to join the Hosoi Affiliates group. The group is the one source for updates and news. Send an IM to Amyryu Hosoi to be added to the group.
Setting Up Vendors:
Before setting up your Catalog Vendors prepare your shop, store or kiosk. Use the textures and items included in this package to build a location that will suit the products.
When you rezz the Catalog Vendors they are already loaded with the items for the product category stated on the box. The vendor will ask you if it can take $ from you. You should say yes for the transactions to be able to take place.
