After great success with the Ultimate Land Sale Sign V1, I started having ideas on how to improve it, new features that would extend or improve it's abilities. After over a year of on / off development, I've very happy to release Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2.
So lets jump right in and get to the many features of the Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2, and how they'll help you.
1. Information Display's
Information is always a key item missing when a person is shopping for land. While most people that deal with land know it all in and out. The average or new SL user usually doesn't. Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 is designed to give them ever bit of information they could possibly need to know about the land they are looking at. On the main part of the sign, they are shown the land size, how many prims are available on the land, the sims rating ( PG or Mature ), and of course the price.
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 also has a header sign that will display whatever is written in the land's name, which is usually something catchy to quickly describe the land, or the seller same and info, it could be anything.
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 does this by using a customized version of XYText, and it gets the information that it displays from the land that it's currently placed on! There are NO NOTECARDS to fill out!

2. Visitor Greeter
When a visitor goes to you land for sale, they will be greeted by the Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2. In that greeting they'll be thanked for visiting and given all the important information about the land. Again information is the key!
Here is a quote of the greeting a visitor will receive:

Ultimate Land Sale Sign - V2: This is a 7344 sqm lot of land, with 1680 prims available, in a Mature sim. For the low Price of L$6969
3. Notecard Giver
When touched by the visitor to the land Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2, they will be given a notecard disigned to be filled out by the seller. This notecard should be filled with information about the seller, if the sign is being used on Estate land it should include any Covenant that applies to the land, and also tier information for the land. By default the notecard has a short generic greeting from the seller, and a copy of Linden Labs mainland tier policy and fees.
4. Themes
There are many different types of land in SL, so why do most land sale signs look the same no matter what type of land they are on? The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 doesn't suffer from this lack of style. It detects from the land's information what type of land it's on and will automatically change it's current texture theme to match! There are 4 themes available Beach/Water, Snow, Grass, and Mountain (Rock).

5. Automatic Tree Planter
This one goes back to one of my original land selling beliefs. Trees sale land! Land that is setup nicely with trees and plants will always sale better then land that is bare! It does take allot of time to setup land to look good, but the Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 makes that a breeze and saves you tons of your valuable time.
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 can automatically plant trees on the land it is placed. It comes loaded with 1 prim LL trees, but you can also add your own custom trees to the signs inventory and have it plant them! The sign can plant in 2 patterns grid or random.
Grid Pattern spaces the trees out evenly in to rows and columns giving a very uniform look. It can plant 2 types of grids. First it will plant 1 tree for every 64 sqm block of land, and the second type of grid plants 1 tree per every 256 sqm block of land. That lets you decide the density of the trees on the land!

Random pattern generates random coordinates around your land and plants them. There is no way to tell where they'll end up. You can choose how many trees to plant in a 256 sqm block (1 to

The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 will only plant trees on the lot of land that it's placed on. It detects the lands boarders and size, even if you own the land next to it. It can also plant trees on land that is uneven size and shapes.
6. Visitor Tracker
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 also tracks people that visit the land it's on. After putting the sign on your land, come back later and through the menu system it will tell you everyone that has visited the land.
7. Cost Tracker
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 has the ability for you to enter the cost of the land in the menu system. It's all menu driven you simply enter each number of the cost, much like you enter numbers in to a calculator. Once the cost has been entered the sign saves that figure to use in the Sales Notification. The cost is also saved in a way that if the sim crashes or is reset, it's not lost and you'll still get the correct information in the Sales Notification.
8. Sales Notification
One of the best features in the Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 is the Sales Notification! When you land sales, the Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 will thank the buyer and remove it's self from the land. It will also send you the seller a IM telling you that the land has sold.

If just the UUID is shown, a group has purchased the land.
As you can see, you are given the land's location, land's size, price sold for, price per sqm it was sold for, cost of land, profit of the land sale, and the person or group that has purchased the land! Information for the seller is also a great thing!
9. Freebie Vendor
Purchasing land for most is a great investment, and allot of time once someone purchases land they rush out to a freebie store to get a home and furnishings for their new land. Save them some time and let them know you the seller are a nice guy/gal, by offering them some quality freebie items right from your sign!
The items in the Freebie Vendor can be scrolled through using the Next or Back prim buttons on the sign or there is a timer in it that changes the display every 60 seconds.
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 comes loaded with several quality freebie items all are full permissions. Plus you can add additional items to the Freebie Vendor to offer the visitors of your land.
It is extremely easy to add new items to the Freebie Vender, just drag the item and a matching image in to the Freebie's inventory. The Freebie Vender will detect that something has been added and update it's self. There are NO NOTECARDS to fill out!
And incase you don't want to offer freebie items, that's no problem the Freebie Vendor can be turned on or off through the signs main menu.

10. Advertisement Board
If your like me, your involved with other SL businesses looking for ways to get extra traffic or would like to have a way to generate extra income. The Advertisement board is the perfect way to do either. Just think how many people visit land that is for sale, it's a wasted opportunity! With the Advertising Board you can display other lands you have for sale, products that you sale, advertise businesses that you are involved with, or even sale ad space on your sign and earn a few extra dollars for simply putting your for sale sign on your land!
The Advertisement Board works much like the Freebie vender, it has an image display that can be scrolled through using the Next and Back prim buttons, or the timer will automatically change the image every 60 seconds. The difference is when touched the Advertisement Board will give out a notecard that corresponds with the image displayed. The notecard can contain embedded landmarks or even embedded pictures.
It is extremely easy to add new items to the Advertisement Board , just drag a notecard ( information about what your advertising) and a matching image in to the Advertisement Board's inventory. The Advertisement Board will detect that something has been added and update it's self. There are NO NOTECARDS to fill out!
And just like the Freebie Vendor if you don't want to use the Advertisement Board you can simply turn it off through the signs main menu.

11. Group Land or Estate Land
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 will work perfectly on group land and Estate Land, as long as you have the correct permissions in your group to manage the land.
12. Help
The Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2 also comes with a very detailed Help notecard that can be accessed by the owner of the sign, through the signs main menu. It includes picture examples on how to operate every part of the Ultimate Land Sale Sign V2. You won't be left in the dark with this fancy sign, that you have no idea how to use.
