1. Sculpted Furniture:
Our Advanced Highly Sculpted furniture was made with the upmost precision and designed with original sculpt maps and our exclusive texture engine creating the realism that often decays in Second Life. Shadowing and lighting schemes, detailed scenework, the movement of Machinima and the realism of texture and shape are meant to make your SL' even more looking like your RL'. Our designs are one of a kind and we do not reproduce any of our sets again with a different texture, therefore your set is an original and you will find it nowhere else in a different color or style. Step into reality, experience the truth, and enjoy quality with our high detail of sculpt and design. Enjoy each themed room where you may purchase each item separately directly in the room or the whole set on the back wall of PENDULUM. 2. The Pendulum Build:
Just as a Pendulum works, so does this whole building you are in. The center build is balanced on a single point and supported upright by the 4 large chains extending from it to the outer showroom walls. We have stretched those chains as tight as we can, but even we are not strong enough to get it so tight as to prohibit any movement at all, therefore the center building will sway a little when you or another avatar enters it, reacting off your weight in the room adjacent to where you are. We have added a large Pendulous weight to portray this movement. It is also depicted in the drawing that the tip of the Pendulum makes in the sand underneath it. The more people that enter this room over a period of time the pendulum will make some pretty interesting sketches in the sand. We save these pictures and hang them up in the room, and as you are there viewing them, you are creating your own. Just like all of Second Life, it exists because it was created by its users, so as to this Pendulum, creation by presence, un unconscious creation born into conscious, hence the quote at the top
We rake this sand once a month or depending apon usage and throw a raking party with it, each guest can have a picture of that drawing and gifts are handed out, but most importantly our new releases are shown for the first time. Look for it as a group member, which is open to all.
3. Speed Dating
Second Life is about us, you and me. It's about us creating objects, friendships, coming together, and enjoying ourselves. We want to strengthen that here at Pendulum. We offer 2x a month (or upon demand) a speed dating evening. This is a great chance and way to meet new people, land new friendships, or maybe even fall in love. Even for the shy ones, or the ones that never have anything to say, our enviornment and structure will give you the opportuntiy to step out of those restrictions and just simply chat. Speed dating is basically where for example 5 girls and 5 guys trade 10 minutes conversation on getting to know each other, at the end of the whole session, questionaires are filled out and matches are made, if they haven't found themselves already. When your match here at Pendulum turns into a second date, that date will be organized and sponsored by Pendulum. It couldn't be easier than this to meet people in Second Life. 4.Special Requests and Events:
Admittance is renewal, and we admit some of our products are high in prim count, thats why we name it high quality. It is precision work and some of the shapes would not otherwise be possible. But maybe the color is the problem with your decision, or a light here or a glass there. Do you have a large event you would like to furnish, wedding party, opening a club, interior home design, need a whole line of a product which would be expensive? Contact us and we can make a deal, design something special, change a color or just about anything your heart wishes. We love to do custom work so don't be afraid to ask.
