Tired of the old flat ramps that pose themselves as escalators? Jump to the next dimension: Escalator 3D! Fully working low prim escalators, that's not just a texture on a flat prim. The steps actually move up/down. To my knowledge to date this is the only actual escalator in SL, that is not a slanted ramp.
Thanks to sculpted prims, moving stair is just one single prim, yet it has 18 flat steps with very sharp corners!
All settings can be done by the owner via a dialog shown on touch. You can switch moving direction, choose between two working styles (with poseball, or touch-plate), and have the escalator always working, or only working when someone starts using the escalator.
See the live demo at the Escalator 3D showrom http://slurl.com/secondlife/Landings/102/126/23/?img=http%3A//static.slexchange.com/modules/Marketplace/Images/6/9/f/69f9d39b6ead31b5564c25d84bba3684thumb1.jpg&title=Escalator%203D%20Showroom&msg=Escalator%203D%20Showroom - due to space restrictions, the escalators in the showroom are scaled down, non-rideable versions. However you can still check both styles in 3D, with the steps moving.
