The looks of the piano
SZ Pianofabrik Concert Grand pianos are carefully built replicas of real life full size concert grand pianos. The measurements of the real life piano have been scaled and enlargened to fit the average Second Life avatar size and make this fine musical instrument look gorgeous either on a concert stage or in a piano room of a home. Attention has been put into ensuring the finest build quality for this instrument, and also providing beautiful small details. The piano and the bench also cast shadows on the floor or surface underneath them.
With version 2.0 the SZ Pianofabrik Concert Grand piano offers the pianists even greatel level of details and authenticity - with flexibility to choose whether to use the features or not. These new features include full prim black keys, and decorative sheet music that will change to display the music that the piano is currently playing.
This is the perfect piano for those, who prefer the most authentic looks in their concert grand piano. This piano has a polished black lacquer finish - just like the real life "ebony grands".
Single and duet benches included in the package
Included with the SZ Pianofabrik Concert Grand piano, are two piano benches - both with polished black lacquer finish, and black leather top. These are modelled after real life artist benches. The single bench includes one seating position, with piano playing animation - and the duet bench includes three positions (middle position for single play, and seating positions at the edges of the bench for duet play).
Advanced rezzing and placement and opening top, lid and music stand
SZ Pianofabrik Concert Grand Piano Model D features an easy way to rez and place the piano in your home or concert venue. After rezzing the piano body, the piano automatically rezzes the detailed moving parts, such as piano top, lid over keys and sheet music stand. These parts are unlinked to allow fine details and smooth animation at the same time.
If you want to move or turn the piano to place it after rezzing, you don't need to worry about editing the unlinked parts separately. The placement of the piano has been made very easy - you only have to move the piano body, and all the unlinked parts will follow the body - and stay perfectly aligned in every situation. This ensures that the piano will look just the way as rezzed from the box, even after it's moved - without the need to edit several unlinked parts at the same time, and making sure they all move correctly when editing.
In case of accidentally deleting or losing one of the unlinked parts, selecting "Reset" from piano menu will return the piano into it's original condition, with all the parts rezzed.
The piano top, and the lid over keyboard and the sheet music stand are all also separately animated, and they can be opened or closed either with easy popup menu, or touching the moving part, or with chat commands.

SZ Pianofabrik Concert Grand Piano includes 12 poses, crafted just for this piano. The poses and the menu to operate them are located in the piano top - which closes automatically when the pose menu is selected. The poses include casual and romantic poses, such as laying or sitting on the piano top, or standing and leaning against the piano.

Attention has also been put into advanced scripting of the music playback - that allows the music to preload before starting the playback. This will minimize the effect of SL lag, that sometimes makes gaps in playing back scripted music.
Easy to use options in the piano menu
The piano has options - accessible to the owner, to easily set the piano up for different uses (ie. private home, live music venue or a club). The whole piano with all of it's functions can be switched to be only used by owner, or by everyone. The music playback menu can be turned on and off. And the whole piano can be reset to return it to the condition as it was right after being rezzed. The poses on the piano top can also be set to be accessed by everyone or only group members.
The piano menu also includes commands to open and close the piano top, lid over keys and music stand separately - and the features to play music pieces and stop music playback.
6 beautiful silver candelabras
The piano package includes also 6 beautiful candelabras - two large candelabras for 5 candles, two large candelabras for 3 candles, and two small tabletop candelabras for 3 candles - made of polished silver. These candles have particle flames and light sources, which can be turned on and off by touching the candelabra. The candles will create the perfect romantic mood, to play the lovely music pieces on the piano for your loved one.
Automatic lifetime updates for the piano
The piano checks for updates from the update server everytime it's rezzed, and also on regular time periods. If an updated version of SZ Pianofabrik Concert Grand Piano Model D is available, it is automatically sent to you.
