* Overview *

The Quantum Gate is a inter-sim teleporter that permits you to "open a connection between two portals", then "walk though an open portal" to be teleported to the destination.

The most popular appearance of this teleportation method is a Stargate from the Movie/TV that opens a wormhole between two locations, then lets people travel though it to the destination. As such this Quantum Gate has been designed to look and behave like a StarGate from the TV show.
