Bosphorus has just become an SL Gateway Sim.
What does that mean? This means that New Avatars will be entering the world here in Bosphorus. You set up shop. you have your gorgeous merchandise there. Toss out a couple freebies. The New Avatars are not only taught how to buy lindens, but they are encouraged to have a look around the Mall. Putting out freebies in your store for them to find brings them in your door, and gets your brand imprinted in their minds - Your Brand will be one of the first they see. you'll be a part of their very first memories of SL. The free outfit, shoes, skin, piece of jewelry you have out for them to find - will be the first they wear or have in world. Some of my very favorite things I have, I found for free when I was brand new. I've evolved, changed, my taste has developed over time, but I still go back to the first stores I found QUALITY freebies at - don't you? Only NOW, I SHOP there, not just pick up freebies.
