A couple of months ago, we offered a free month's shop rental in our themed community, a Mediterranean seaside village, to startup businesses.

Two of them folded after their first month. Two of them (The Place of the Lotus and Sam's Secret) are thriving...because their owners have original content to sell, and because they work hard at creating content and promoting their businesses. A third did so well they've rented a bigger store and moved to another location.
