About Opportunity Island Business Center:
Opportunity Island consists of multiple complexes and points of interest spread over six different regions. The purpose of these islands is to consolidate and facilitate marketing opportunities in Second Life, and we offer a variety of rental packages and services to Second Life and real world sales and marketing professionals in order to accomplish this. Some of the amenities that come with your parcel include:

- Full media control for your parcel
- The ability to customize your parcel name and description
- Full use of the Community Center conference facilities
- Full use of the outdoor amphithteater on Radio Island
- Some use of the radio and television station facilities
- An open invitation to participate in all estate-wide events, and to contribute to event planning

Why sales and marketing?
In our industry we are always looking for new and exciting ways to connect with our consumers, and we feel that Second Life not only offers a viable and sustainable technology, but can actually allow us to expand our practices in a new and interesting way by adding a dimension of interaction that the Internet cannot provide. We have also noticed that while there are already many sales and marketing professionals currently in SL with these very same goals, up until now we have been unable to find a centralized and unified community working together on it. That is where we come in.

Here on Opportunity Island we can provide a home for your business, and we offer a variety of types of parcels to choose from. We have everything from large office buildings, smaller offices with a residential look and feel, shop settings for service oriented businesses, or empty parcels where you can create your own space. While each location available comes with it's own audio and video capabilities, we are also happy to provide the use of conference rooms, a television studio, a radio station, and an outdoor amphitheater to accomodate your events. We also have many events planned that we will be promoting heavily, and we are always willing to work with you on your suggestions for event planning as well.

Is Opportunity Island limited to sales and marketing professionals?
While that is the primary intent of our community, we understand that our professionals will have need of services too, and for that reason we will make some of the properties available to commerce designed to facilitate our business professionals. Some examples of these business would include graphic designers, interior designers, avatar image consultants, firms specializing in marketing and public relations in SL, and firms providing training and education in SL.

How do I lease with the Opportunity Island Group?
As it is a priority that we keep our focus of providing a location for sales and marketing professionals, and because we do strive to maintain a balance of services, we do ask that you fill out a simple rental application with us with details about the business and services you provide, information about the property you are interested in, and any requests you have for assistance in setting up your presence. Once we receive your application we will review it to see if there is a fit for you in our community, and upon approval you will be given an invite to the Opportunity Island group. At that time we will also make the unit you desire available for your tenancy, and you can make your rental payment in our leasing office. We will also arrange with you to cover any service requests you may have for parcel setup.
