If you copy the location, paste it into secondlife chat, and look at chat history they should pop up as clickable urls. They will give you a beacon to the plot.

Another thing you could do is hit your Map button, Type in The Wastelands, hit search, and checkbox "Land for sale",. The little Yellow boxes most likely are for sale unless someone bought it within 24 hours.
