A gorgeous looking sim, providing a space both for homes as well as commercial builds. In fact, we NEED shops to make the city alive!
An overall consistent theme gives the sim a realistic look and feel which takes you in and suspends your disbelief.

We are looking for residents with an interest to become part of the community and bring their own creativity into the story.
Don't worry though if you are a newbie, and haven't created anything yet, you are just as welcome :)
All we ask, respect your neighbors - don't be a jackass.

---The Theme:

Calme Hyperia is a mysterious city in an (as of yet) unspecified location. It is made of enormous platforms and pillars, built by a civilization with immense technological knowledge and power. It towers high above the low-tech suburbs and the surrounding land. On ground level, the city appears like a mountain, its walls all but unclimbable.
Around the base there spreads a city of a different kind. Houses made from wood and stone, a medieval society, degenerated from the old civilization which built Calme Hyperia, only scarcely penetrated by some high-tech tool which someone acquired from the city above or which was passed on from ages past.

The towering city, as well as the ground-level city, are split by a river which carries boats up and down the land. The river leaves through a huge gate in the old city walls.

A family of gods supervises the city through some kind of high-tech portals. They will listen to the prayers of residents and, especially if convinced by a sacrifice, may act to the favour of the one seeking their attention. Their portals are sacred and a brotherhood of priests tends to them and can make some of the most basic repairs if any damage falls on the portal.
