Wyre is modeled loosely on the Scottish islands of Orkney. Time in Wyre seemingly slowed to a halt sometime around 1910. Rustic and green, Wyre has a small village with several country cottages and estates nearby. An arts center is in the planning stages. Dance floor available to tenants.
Wyre is a visually themed sim, but not a role-playing one. Everyone is welcome in Wyre, within the constraints of civility and graciousness. The following two rules are non-negotiable:
NO sexual activity of any kind with minors or with avatars that are made to appear or act like minors.
NO slavery. Slavery or the appearance of slavery, of any sort, for any reason, will not be tolerated.
Be sure to read the covenant carefully, as there are two kinds of rental arrangements available. (long-term lease=higher joining fee, lower rent, and extra building privileges; simple rental=low joining fee, higher rent) The goal in Wyre is a stable, long-term community, and the two rental rates reflect that.
