When I say historic, I am not exaggerating. When I first started my business, I priced parcels higher than what they are right now. 2048 square meter parcels, per month, are going for L$2500. 4096 square meter parcels, per month, are going for L$5000. A double prims 2048 square meter parcel is going for L$5000.

Because of the VAT, gambling ban, and many performance problems, Linden Lab seems to be trying, albeit accidentally, to kill off the demand for land. If I were you, I would rent one of these parcels and hold onto it for dear life, because you will never see these prices again. Your rent will never be increased without a formal 60 day notice given directly to you via IM, notecard and/or email. I have never increased anyone's rent.
