This is a repeat of an announcement earlier this week:

This will also be announced at each sim and via IM and email, if necessary. The new section of the Land Covenants is as follows:

"
1.5- Rental due dates: All rent is due on either the first (1st) day of the month or the fifteenth (15th) day of the month. When you pay the first month's rent, you must choose a permanent rent payment day, which will be either the following first day of the month or the fifteenth day of the month. No exceptions can be made to this policy, because the rental accounting will become overly complex. It is your responsibility to contact an ER Estate Manager as soon as possible to calculate your desired rental payment date and any refund or extra payment due.

Example #1: You move into a 2048 square meter parcel on January 16th. You choose to have a due date on the 15th. Therefore, you simply pay your next rent payment on February 15.

Example #2: You move into a 2048 square meter parcel on January 16th. You choose to have a due date on the 1st. You can either 1) wait until February 16th to pay 14 more days of rent in addition to a full month of rent to bring your due date up to April 1st; or 2) Pay for a full month of rent on February 1st and get a refund for 14 days.

Example #3: You move into a 2048 square meter parcel on January 2nd. You choose to have a rent payment date of the 15th. You can either 1) pay again for a full month on January 15th and get a refund for 13 days or 2) wait until February 2nd and then pay for an additional 13 days to get your rent payment date to February 15th.

Currently, the rent per day on a 2048 square meter parcel is L$122 (rounded up). On a 4096 square meter parcel, it is L$243 (rounded down). On a 8192 square meter parcel, it is L$487 (rounded up). On a 16,384 square meter parcel, it is L$973 (rounded down). These figures are only provided to help with adjusting rental dates. Ecstasy Realty does not rent by the day, ONLY by the month. Rent is due once every month or 12 (twelve) times per calendar year."

Please do not IM me about this. Please contact Jenny Olbracht, who is now my Accountant and Estate Manager, to discuss your new billing date. Everyone will still pay rent and any rental adjustments directly to me and no one else. Thank you for your cooperation.
