Thank you, Jeska! And whoever else!

I am THRILLED, thrilled, I tell you, to have the star ratings system gone in Classifieds! And I know I'm not the only one! So thanks to Jeska and whoever else was involved in this decision.

Now if you would just bring back comments, too, I could get entirely back to the warm fuzzies I used to feel when reading the Classifieds! This is wonderful, though, and gets rid of a whole lot of spite and other ill feelings that have been happening in the Classifieds.

This feeling is tempered, though, because I'm not thrilled about coming back to the forums to find my own thread banished to off-topic. Apparently this is because what I was talking about is some sort of "meta-discussion," whatever that means, which is apparently not SL-related. Possibly it is more Michael-Jackson's-Robes related.

Yet topics like "resmods on help island?" ARE SL-related? As is Wuveme's thread about the star ratings? Which remains in General? Which is how I found where my thread was banished to?

Maybe it is because I didn't discuss it in the proper manner. Or maybe it's just the fact that I wrote it.

Regarding the stars on the Discussion threads, I would be happy if you just got rid of them, too. Unless you reserved them ONLY for pointing out, say, a "second life tourism" or "money trees" thread, which serve as a sort of directory, and give such threads five stars. And that only rarely. And never to negrate a resident's thread.

I'm putting this in a separate thread so that Jeska will have a better chance of seeing my comments, and who all else may have been responsible for the removal of those stars from Classifieds - maybe some resmods, like Pendari perhaps - she didn't like them either. But I'm having to put it in off-topic because I have learned my lesson. So I'm not sure if Jeska will even see it.

So resmods, I depend on your honor to let Jeska know my thanks and appreciation for the removal of stars from Classifieds, just as I know I can depend on your quickness in alerting her to the fact that I dared to post a thread in General.

Please notice also that there are currently four or five other threads regarding the new resmod system in General that you haven't moved yet, including another one about the stars ratings by Wuveme. I fail to be convinced that they are all completely different from my thread about resmods, and/or are SL related whereas mine wasn't, and are therefore allowed to stay in General.

P.S. While you are at it, Resmods, I believe there is another thread I started recently in General. It was praising Torley's work in Linden Answers; I forget its name. You need to move that one here, too. It is very metawhatever as well.

You should go to the library more often.

They have books you can read there. Reading is really neat!
