Anyone remember 360? I wouldn't speculate on something that is upto a year away. Nintendo have been good at keeping things under wraps, I doubt they'd want to just leak information out. Thier main card is to impress the developers at shows like E3, and TGS.

I'll admit it looks good, but considering Nintendo have already shown what the Revolution will look like, I don't think they're suddenly gonna make something as restrictive as a visor helmet that detects movement.
Gaming suddenly becomes about kicking the cat? I think nintendo are cleverer than that. Whoever made this vid is a pro, but eh, too many dead giveaways. |

What we need is a return of the Power Glove.

If you click the link to the accompanying article, you'll see that it was posted May 13, 2005. Something tells me this doesn't even qualify as a rumor anymore.
Very cool and well-made video, regardless. I'm surprised how much work the creator(s) put into the design of that "console that might have been". Fun to think about. ![]() _____________________

The one thing in that video that tells me "NOT" is the reference to the Virtual Boy or whatever it was called. Does Nintendo even claim to have made that thing anymore?

very interesting video - but there is alreay something on the market that - althou not as good as 3d eyeglasses and wireless connection to it would be - does allow control movement by body movement
i would like to see this come into reality as an attachment (this was probably an earlier design for the nintendo wand controller - and problems with multiplayer/expense of microscreens and such made devolve into the controversal controller) its like a more advanced eyetoy with foward and back added, next res evil on this anyone? as long as it doesnt encounter headache probs of course |

Nintendo has made a full release of what the actual Nintendo revolution will look like. http://www.nintendo.com/revolution More on the controller http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3143782 and a video talking more about how the controller might be used. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2063821498385606325&q=nintendo+revolution Man I want one for Second Life! hehe |

Interesting thing about the ON video is that the Rev controller is actually a better version of the technology used in cheap VR interfaces (like the P5 glove). Almost certainly just coincidence, but interesting nonetheless.
Also, has everyone seen the sexy new DS? ![]() (yeah, I'm a Nintendo freak )_____________________

I still don't own a DS. My friend, who is more of a Sony guy, hasn't stopped playing the DS since he got it. He doesn't even have a job, he just plays Animal Crossing all day... and then he actually calls up other people and goes to their houses to play Animal Crossing with them.
This system sounds too dangerous for me. _____________________

There is something very special about the DS that seems to make everyone who plays it fall in love with it. Coke laced stylus maybe?
