Was hoping some of you clever SLers could reccomend some web hosting for me! Prefferably cheap! Maybe pay for what you use?

Personally, I suggest dreamhost. ( http://www.dreamhost.com ) They give 20 GB storage to start, on their least expensive plan, a terabyte per month of transfer, and a free domain name. Of course, I'm a bit biased in favor of people using it, since if you use my coupon code, masque, you get $47 off your bill, and I get some cash from them, too. ^_^

I love Lunarpages , they have a great package. I use it for both my professional RL site and PixelPinup (plenty of bandwidth too!)

I love Lunarpages , they have a great package. I use it for both my professional RL site and PixelPinup (plenty of bandwidth too!) And they accept Paypal! I love them already  . But keep the reccomendations coming!_____________________

For highly demanding customers... I would recommend domatic. We used them for Wells Fargo. They did not hesitate one bit in escalating things all the way up to the CTO, giving us a fancy customized server that could handle 500-1000 simultaneous MySQL connections. _____________________
