What the Hell...

A Tri-Lateral Regional Government?

Executive Fiat? NAU? SPP?

Damn. Seems we're fast to give up our independence these days, huh?

I'd take that with a grain of salt... look at the website its on: HERE. Check out the articles... a bit on the tinfoil hat side.

If its true, its fucked up, and yet more proof that the Bush government is a traitor in need of at least impeachment.

The host says:

"Any attempt to merge nations into global government, whether regional or more than that , is satanic in nature. It's unbilblical, its unchristian. No true believer would want to be a part of an effort such as this."

Yep, just posting this so people don't get blindsighted.

Take my advice here: pay less attention to the references to God, and pay more attention to the links he gives.

And Warda: Why would anyone want to have a global government?

The phrase, "true believer" is actually trademarked by Landover Baptist Church (TM)

Look, just to put this in context, This is purely informative.

If you like the idea of a one world government, okay, fine this is good news to you then.

If you don't like the idea, this is bad news.

Personally, I don't. And I have my reasons, although if I explained these to some of you, it wouldn't change your mind, would it?

And although I"m not a christian, please stop attacking them. They're people, just like anyone else, the media is doing a good enough job of doing that without your help. Seems like christians are being attacked by something every time I turn on the TV, computer, or read a magazine. While I AGREE some of the stuff they do is WIERD, OFF THE WALL, and sometimes COMICALLY humorous, the least you could do is pick someone new to make fun of.

I understand you have the right to poke fun of and attack them using sly remarks and satire.
But if you hate them so much, why give them the attention?

Edit:
Ulrika:
Prove that he doesn't. Or are you just saying that to get a rise out of me?
It seems that most of the demographic of SL isn't christian, or believe in God, for that matter, so all you're doing is preaching to the choir. (so to speak)
So maybe next time, you shouldn't put it as fact that he doesn't. Put it as your opinion.
Because that's ALL it is.

Prove that he doesn't.
The Christian God is a fantasy. Of the thousands of religions on this planet, what arrogance and ignorance it must take to think that that particular mythology is singularly factual. It's especially menacing when it's injected into scientific and political discussions, polluting otherwise secular fields to the detriment of all humanity.

Personally, I don't care for a global government if it implies homogeneity. I feel there is strength inherently in diversity and that any political global consensus should exist only if it preserves the existing heterogeny.

I did some searching and atleast some of this stuff about a "North American Union" is true. I haven't verified much yet, having just learned about this: http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q=%22north+american+union%22

Expect Congress and the Courts to make a lot of noise about this if it's true. If Bush is as big an Asshat as these articles indicate, I expect his position to be untenable.

Any "Law" created and "imposed" solely by the Executive, would be illegal, having not been passed according the the rules stipulated in the Constitution, and would therefore not be enforced by US courts.
Congress, being the nation's highest lawmaking body according to the Constitution, would definitely have something to say about that aswell, not to mention the public!

You might equally ask why would the various countries in the EU be moving towards a single nation, or further back, why on Earth would the 13 original states have merged to form the USA?

When you can answer why these unions formed, or even why countries make multinational alliances of any sort, you'll be halfway towards understanding why some people want a world government.
