Download an IRC client, pick the server where the room is you wanna meet people on, pick a name, etc.

There isn't a Blonde client for IRC yet. They keep promising it, and supposedly its just around the corner... but all we have at this point are rumors

The SL chatroom on IRC is Efnet, under #secondlife. If you need a specific server, I recommend irc.easynews.com |
