The new Intel Macs, along with the robust Mac OSX operating system has created a real stir in both the Mac and PC camps. Conversion from the PC / Windows platform to the Mac continues to be one of Apple's major marketing strategies. Here is the link to the latest series of Apple advertising spots you will be seeing on your local network and cable television stations. (I like the one about viruses.) http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/?viruses_medium

MACs suck! How could Apple be so vain to charge twice what the competitors do? I'd never use an iPod because of all the DRM! I'll save $18 with the WalMart model and have an FM tuner! All the Mac koolaide drinkers will never learn.
PC's suck! They just stole the Mac interface from 1984 and are still behind. It's nothing but viruses and spam. And what's up with Vista? Can we say Windows 2014?
Okay, now that that's out of the way, discuss...

I'm not a fan of Macs, but it's pretty much a personal preference with me. You can use whatever you want, but don't take away my PC. I'm not a fan of the operating system, and I don't like the performance you get for the money you pay out...
Admittedly, I haven't played with the new Macs just coming out... but I will when my roommate gets one.
