Juliet's Farewell

Farewell to you my Romeo,
Just one last kiss
before we go,
upon this tomb
with you I lie,
with sweet sad tears
for you I cry.

Farewell to you my gallant knight,
We bent the rules
And lost the fight,
Beyond control
Our love escaped,
Bound and gagged
Our feelings raped.

Farewell my prince, lets say adieu,
For in this life
Our loves taboo,
We cannot change
Life’s destiny,
And only death will
Will set us free.

Farewell to you my Romeo,
A daggered kiss
With you I’ll go,
Upon this tomb
We lie entwined,
With love we seal,
In death we bind.

Well, Dr., it seems you managed to get through the entire poem without phrases like "Mein Fuehrer!" so you have my congratulations.
