So... I've recently registered with a well-known dating website.
I've never been very good at large boxes with "write about yourself" next to them, job applications and the like. The Match.com "help" page isn't much help at all (http://uk.match.com/matchscene/tips.aspx?articleid=4511) so I was wondering if anyone had any top tips of their own that have worked for them.

I've never dated friends - most of my friends are female (I'm male) and to be quite honest, I don't see them in that way at all for some reason. There's someone I've got my eye on who I've been working with recently (although we're not in the same company) but I'm looking at this online website as another avenue to explore. |

Disregarding the awful cheesy name for a second: The Make Love Happen guarantee is available only in the UK. We guarantee that you will find love in the first 6 months or we will give you an additional 6 months at no additional cost to you to continue your search! The subscriber is responsible for meeting a few requirements including: - Create a truthful Match.com profile with a photograph and keep it visible to the public - Respond to, or initiate communication with at least 5 Match.com members each month through the Match.com service. Could this be connected to this supposed scam in some way? Strange, cause I know one or two people who've used this site and found it to be quite a help in finding (real!) people. It's meant to be one of the more reputable operators. Not giving them a penny yet, anyway, till I've finished writing this profile! |
