I thought halo 1 was amazing.. I waited to play it on PC because I cant use the control pads..
I think it deserved its applauds.. apart from always thinking your going backwards due to repeated use of the same rooms.. but gameplay was impecible.. part two is meant to rule.. but DAM! im not buying into "safe computing" I'll use linux before I do that -.-

And, Halo is overrated. Yes. Over rated & a cheap ploy by M$ to get you to buy Vista- whichever of the supposedly 7 versions you want/need. I saw the game on the Xbox systems. Yeeeaaaa, Halo 1 reminded me of an UnReal Tounament 2004 clone without mods. Halo 2 was a step up but naaaah, I still have better looking single/multi-player games on my PC. And screw Vista! I'll wait till I absolutely need it..... which is long after all Major bugs, holes, drivers, etc, are fixed (ok, no OS is perfect, you know what I mean) and games start ONLY supporting Vista, much like Battlefield 2 only supports XP.
