Depends on the time of year, but I live out in the sticks.
If its any indication, I have a Gas-Generator hard-wired into my house, and all my PC's are on UPS. ![]() _____________________

About once every 6 months, so I chose a year as it was the closest option.

I like power cuts, no SL, no TV, no radio, no music makes me go for walks in the darkness

More like twice a year, really. And it's interesting, cause you keep thinking well, you can go do this OTHER thing, then you realize it is electricity-dependant, too. And no matter what, you keep flicking on light switches when you go into rooms. duh
Doncha know we would all just KILL ourselves without electricity? Course then, like the other poster said, it is a chance to read to your kids, play board games, or play the piano. IF you can see well enough to do any of those things. coco _____________________

In fact less than every year. I live in a big city. Probably once every two or three years does the power go out and even then it's usually for an hour or so if that. There was a big power failure in Eastern Canada last year that the US news blamed on Canada but it turned out the cause was the poorly run privatised power grids in the US (one of the only countries in the western world that allows that), you people should join civilisation and get the money-grubbing speculators out of your power supply! ![]() _____________________
