Reality TV Shows Not all of them, just some. Survivor is a recent guilty pleasure of mine. I never watched until this season, but now I'm also watching all the reruns aired on OLN, and even checking to see what's available on DVD. I've watched Real World since the first season, but that gets less and less interesting the more formulaic it gets. (Homosexual? Check. Angry Black Person? Check. Naive Virgin? Check. Arrogant Jock? Check.) I still watch the Battle style reality shows though. Real World vs Road Rules, etc. It's sad, I know.. but I do ride my exercise bike as I watch, so I don't feel the half-hour or hour has been a complete waste. Disco I always hated it, until about 3 or 4 years ago when I started making CDs for a DJ friend to play at his events. I realized how many people knew these songs, and how incredibly infectious they can be. I now have a very hard time sitting still during anything like Boogie Fever. Appetizers/Finger Foods/Hors D'ouvers[sp?] If I didn't have to cook for other people too, I would probably live on stuffed mushrooms, chicken fingers, baguette slices with spreads, relishes and olives, mini tacos & burritos... They're my favorite foods. Miniturized food is more fun, especially if you can dip it in something. Catalogs I hardly ever order anything off the internet, but I love online catalogs and snail-mail catalogs. I get a couple dozen delivered. What are your guilty pleasures?

I'm with you on Finger Foods, if I didn't cook for my daughter I wouldn't even bother for myself.
Boybands: Gotta love Backstreet Boys dontcha, specially their new song!
Beanie Babies: I collected over 400 about 4 years ago, and sold them all to well pay the mortgage, starting up again around 2 years later.
Chocolate: I can live with out it, but I find instead of telling myself that every lunchtime, I jus t say, ONE BAR WON'T HURT!
Gadgets: preferably kitchen ones, but I am a gadget SUCKER, if its small, and does silly things its mine, hell if its BIG and does silly things its mine, my brother actually listed my kitchen gadgets the other day, most of which I have NEVER used, and yet, to this day, I still buy new ones.

I love Survivor as well, even though it has gotten kinda lame over the years with the island hookups of people who havent bathed in over a month ewww. This season is pretty good so far with none of that going on. I'm just waiting for Stephanie to be voted out because she grates on my nerves for some unknown reason and she was bad luck to pretty much any tribe she was ever on lol
I loved the first 3 seasons of Real World...Got Puck?...after that it went down hill for me. I agree with you on the type of people they now choose for the show. It lost its originality years ago.

My guilty pleasures Food wise: Eating peanut butter directly out of the jar with a spoon. Hey I am single, not like anyone else is going to eat out of it too, lol. I have such a MASSIVE love of anything made with peanut butter. This is part of the reason why I rarely buy it or that is all I would eat, lol. Entertainment: People Magazine - I can't stop buying it. Gossip, gossip, gossip. At least ocasionally they will have thought provoking articles in it as well I will confess that I at times will watch a reality show or two. I am constantly remarking about how tacky they are and then I watch one and it ropes me right in. I ended up watching the rest of VH1's My Fair Brady and at times I will also watch Surreal Life. On a totally off tangent side note, reality TV is briliant. People will watch it and get roped into it and they don't have to pay for overpriced actors (well unless they are already washed up actors on a reality show). One other guilty pleasure I will keep to myself and chosen few Other than those fewat the moment I have gone brain dead on my other guilty pleasures and I know once I hit submit they will come to me, hehe.

Felicity's post reminded me... Those shows on VH1, like 100 Most Hideous Red Carpet Outfits or 100 Most Pathetic Hollywood PR Marriages. (okay, I made those up, but they fit) I even watched the 100 Least Metal Moments and found myself commenting on them with one of my brothers, neither of us being at all interested in Metal. There is something about watching other peoples' embarassing moments that I find sadly entertaining. The trips and falls on home videos, the moments of patheticness caught on film... I can't help it. Misery makes me giggle.

I didn't feel guilty but I like Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, and onetime at a fancy banquet I heated up a bowl in a conveniently-placed microwave and trotted it out and then put caviar on top of it. Then, people started looking at me. I wish they wouldn't look so much because I just wanted to enjoy my meal. I've also gotten some pokes for liking Avril Lavigne in the past, but I didn't care for her second album as much so that's history now.

There's nothing shameful about Mac & Cheese, though the cavier bit it a touch odd. I won't say anything about Avril Lavigne, because I have about 30 songs from The Dixie Chicks in my MP3 folder.
