I did not mean to offend anyone. I think I left the wrong impression. My last thread, I did not mean to send the message I was going to be some kind of evangelist troll. That is not my intentions. I said it before and I will say it again, I have no interest in forcing a religion on anyone.
I will pray for you all though. I always pray that those who god calls upon will find his path. I do not need to force anything on anyone, its not like god is sitting up in the sky getting mad that you will not listen. He has his reason that you are on the path you are on.
I promise this will be my last thread I start on the topic.

Neither is your harshness. Why are you so offended? Your lack in control over being offended is the root of your sins.

I promise this will be my last thread I start on the topic. Darling, as a Christian, even I have to say to "give it a rest". It wasn't as if you brought up the subject to have a jovial debate about the religion. You came to "beat the bread of Life over someone's head", so to speak. If someone wants to convert to Cristianity, then they will come to YOU. But just because they do not come, does not mean that they are "heathens". It is nice that you want to pray for us. That's great. But, you didn't have to announce it. The apology part was good, though. Peace.

Ty.. I didn't get a chance to tell you this in the last thread, but I was sorry to hear that people were giving you a hard time for a little bit of text in your profile. People can be jerks.
I think people get a little ruffled by comments like "He has his reason that you are on the path you are on." and "I always pray that those who god calls upon will find his path."
Your intentions might be noble and, from your perspective, the 'right' thing to do - but for people of other faiths or who do not believe in any god(s), those comments can come across as insensitive and possibly even a tad rude. Why? Because it implies that even if one doesn't have the same beliefs that you do - they are still under his guidance and control. I'm pretty sure you believe this with all your heart, but you must understand that your audience may not.
Taken from my viewpoint I would tell you that I am on the path I am because of my decisions, dedication and hard work - not because of anything else, certainly not because of a god that I do not believe in.

Ty, the last thread was closed. We all said our piece. No need to reanimate the topic, even with an apology. For the sake of accuracy, you weren't the main one who was so vocal and adamant about your faith. I think it was someone else who tripped the fire alarms. As for praying, please feel free to save your breath on me. I always thank people who say that to me, but frankly it has never been shown to do a thing for anyone. Dr. Richard Sloan, a professor of behavioral medicine at Columbia, recently published a critique of Dr. Herbert Benson's findings (which were published in The American Heart Journal), showing that Benson's data did not show any result from intercessory prayer -- if anything, there was actually an insignicant statistical trend showing that patients who were prayed for got worse instead of better. But thanks anyway. I'm going to rely on diet, excercise and a voracious appetite for learning rather than talking to the sky

i'm sure the jews, buddhists, muslims, hindus, and others who worship any other religion other than christianity, will sleep well at night knowing that you are praying for their sins. *rolls eyes* From: someone I did not mean to offend anyone. From: someone I will pray for you all though. I always pray that those who god calls upon will find his path. the contradiction in your post is amusing though, so thanks for the laugh.

Common people can we drop this already? Everyone has had their say in the previous threads , no need to make this one a third hot thread with basicly the same posts all over again. Relax , take a deep breath and walk away *random hugs*

You can pray for me if I can put spells on you.

Ty, if you would kindly refrain from praying for me, I will refrain from pelting you with fruit from the Tree of Knowledge.
With such compromises, wars could easily be avoided.
