Or better yet, a carton of Orange Juice or bottle of 7up from the store?
I'm sick and in a battleground, I can't be bothered to get up.
So couldja?

I wish I had a robot to do that for you.
A few years back, I saw a news special on how ordering groceries from the Internet would be the "next big thing", and there was talk of having deliverypeople do it, and then eventually guided transport vans in the future, with robots to help tote the goods (since shopping carts can't go up stairs). I think it ultimately didn't work out... dot-com bomb and all that. ![]() Since you are sick, get well soon. ![]() _____________________

I would love to have a robot bring me my items as opposed to having a blue box pop up asking if i want it or not. ![]() _____________________

I've been battling a nasty cold myself. Caught it in Disneyland of all places. I never should have let Goofy hump my leg!
But after a week of Nyqui (which is damn fine stuff), aspirin and OJ, I finally, during a small break in stuffiness, broke out the whiskey and doused that bug good. I may be still sick, but I sure feel alot better. _____________________

We order groceries from teh intarweb. It's great but we end up with the wrong quantities of things... too little of this, a little too much of that... so we sometimes have to go shopping anyway

When I was a kid..about 30 years ago...yikes..my grandparents had the Vegetable Truck Man come by their house. It was a box truck..you go inside and on either wall of the truck was veggie bins and stuff like that. He had "specialty items" too..like..I even got bubble gum! w00t!

I wish we could still have milk delivered. I vaguely remember the Dairylea milk boxes left out on the front stoop. I'm not sure how the milkman knew exactly what my mother wanted, maybe there was an order form or something left the day before.
I think it would ROCK if we could put an order into Publix on the internet and have everything delivered the next day or even in a couple of hours. Imagine how much money we'd all save? No more impulse buys of Mallomars and Twinkies because we're starving while grocery shopping! No more dragging a screaming toddler around the store. Oh, my God, it would be like Heaven! I hate grocery shopping with a passion! _____________________
