Okay, I too want to eat a tasty roast ...
... but I also think that my roast stamps all over freedom of expression.
No one should be able to change what *you* want to show as your expression of yourself online - your dinner plate. At best, a person should be able to completely turn off / ignore an entire person's avatar, but not edit it, as my roast will require.
This may seem trivial, but it is a HUGE HUGE mistake, and throwing our basic freedom of expression away, all for the sake of a roast.
Furthermore, as Second Roast goes to the Metaverse, and this becomes a juicy, delicious roast, I risk lawsuit in court and it will, I repeat WILL be reverse in court. Roast!

In addition, it's impractical:
Imagine Psyra's phoenix avatar, but you've turned down the oven so he's a headless, wingless turkey roast?
Imagine the roast I'm staring at in the roast banner, armless and legless with skinny malnutritioned roasted limbs dangling out.
Imagine Yadni ... a naked blue lanky roast.
Ask Babbage Linden if he'd like people to be able to turn off his roast arm.
Ask Torley Linden if she'd like to be a headless top round.
Ask Nigel Linden if he wants to be a tiny-headed roast.
The fact is that by making this roast, I am basically letting people censor all the most creative avatars, and that is absolutely counter-productive to the goals of Second Roast.
And the bottom line - this is not a roast that the residents have been asking for, and it was not discussed with the residents, even if it is bursting with delicious flavors and covered in tasty vegetables. Please immediately halt implementation of this "dinner" and thoroughly discuss the implications with the community.

What if... I'm here to make money at being a land baron and my only desire in SL is to get from point A to point B anytime I want without Psyra's head or tail feathers for that matter. What is it to anyone how I have my SL settings?
The same could have been said for the balloon maker that hoovers all of our heads unless we turn it off. That person wants what they said captured in a balloon and now he finds out that we have all turned it off? There goes his creativity and we are squashing it.
You all should be ashamed of setting your SL any way you want!
