I wasnt exited about this game at all, but having gone through the (really short) Demo, Im starting to be, if you havent heard about it, you dont use steam. the demos gotten through that. it uses the Source engine so naturaly the grafix are really nice, bit over use of motion blur.. has that dreamy look that games like Prince of persia sands of time has.. but its got a really good combat model, you can see your characters feet when you look down theres lean and zoom. yay!!
The combats actually really nice. giving you a kick as a seperate button.. kick slice!! rawr!! good sword fighting.. and man the baddys do be in rag order after a beating.. limping after you.
oh the dialog is corny as hell.. in a way that makes you wish it was meant to be funny.

do check it out!! If you want to see a game where the baddies really look bad after facing you, try an older one called Bloodrayne. It gets pretty gruesome when you start hacking off arms and watching Nazi soldiers scream "Noooooo!" in slow motion as they run around bleeding to death. I suppose I should be horrified that I was able to play the game without being sickened, come to think of it. But the scene where you take over the bizarre mech-like thing is by far the best. The dialogue between Rayne and the Nazis over the radio as she's fighting them is priceless.  *sigh* I'm not really a gamer anymore, though, I think. Just SL, and I don't really think of that as a game.
