If you could create a fantasy LSL function, one which would obviously never happen (because it's impossible or just too silly), what would it be? I dreamt last night that I rezzed my dead uncle who died in Viet Nam so he could tell me about what he and my dad were like as kids... so my function would be: llRezDead(string PersonsName, integer YearsOld, string Description) This would Rez a person who has passed beyond the veil into the Sl grid. You could talk to them and interact as you would with any other SL avatar. As an added bonus, you can alter their apparent age to whatever you want... so you could rez your grandfather at 15 years old or Moses when he was 60. The avatar would have the memories from the person's entire life, though. Description would help you find the person... after all, the workers who sort the souls in the realm of the dead need a little more to go on than "Uncle Ted" when trying to locate someone. So who's next?

llWallopSLPlayer(KEY avatar, FLOAT wallopstrength, STRING message) Allows a player that is currently online using the avatar whose key is used to be walloped right through the monitor. FLOAT wallopstrength can be any number up to 10 equalling a puch able to crack concrete to a 1 of a tap on the cheek. The string message will be screamed into the players ear during the wallop. This function can only be used on a paticular player once per day, and may lead to legal issues for the coder who uses it.

From: Aurael Neurocam llRezDead(string PersonsName, integer YearsOld, string Description) That's great, blows me away. It's filled my mind and I can't think of anything else now.

llReadMyMind(Integer Instances, Integer AnimationSwitch, Integer InteractivitySwitch)
Creates whatever is on my mind, so I don't pull the rest of my hair out trying to do so manually. I can control how many copies of the item are made, and, to a small degree, how complex they are.

llWriteScript(string purpose, float efficiency, float elegance, float resource_usage, integer comments) - returns the correct script to do the task described in the purpose parameter, with 0-1.0 parameters efficiency, elegance and resource_usage taken into account (these must add up to 1.0 or the function will fail).
The comments parameter is designed to take a boolean, but due to an unavoidable bug in coders' brains actually always reads as FALSE.

From: Ordinal Malaprop llWriteScript(string purpose, float efficiency, float elegance, float resource_usage, integer comments) Hey, that's doable! Just make it send an email to me. Don't forget the last field though: integer payment

llForcePerspective(key id, float duration)
Much like the Point of View gun from the Hitchhiker's movie, this makes the person behind the avatar see things your way for duration seconds.

llTakeMoney(key id,integer amount); Takes amount from id and gives it to owner. Requires PERMISSION_STEAL
llSetStatus(STATUS_DELETE_LAGGY_SCRIPTS,TRUE); Deletes scripts if they are too laggy- warning: in extreme cases of lag it may delete every script in the sim.
integer llFixSim(string simname); Stops simname from lagging. Returns FALSE if PERMISSION_MAKE_SIM_LESS_LAGGY is not set, otherwise returns true.

llOutOfBody(key id, vector pos)
so I can wander around SL getting exactly the right camera angles for filming
Or...
llPossess(key id)
to make that griefer walk off a cliff.

From: DoctorMike Soothsayer llPossess(key id)
to make that griefer walk off a cliff. Heh. Heh. Psst.
llPushObject and llDetectedVel can be manipulated so precisely this might be doable. Just divide out mass and account for the distance^3 falloff.
But I never said that. Nope.

llSleep(key id, float hours);
Overload this function to also work on people who really shouldn't be staying up that late in SL.
llSleep(llGetOwner(), 8.0) would be really useful sometimes...

Lindens seem reluctant on this one. One can only dream.

llConnect(integer port, string address, string protocol, integer flags); Would be useful. Add in something like llReadLine and llWriteLine, and maybe llSelect.
The RPC over Email thing is painfully limiting.

Once enabled the game will run using 1MB ram and everything becomes clear...like Neo in the matrix figured out. Scripts are made and ready to go before you think about it and entire items made within two seconds. Quickly followed by you being sucked into the virtual SL world and you pray they don't reboot.
