Ah, forgive me, but I must point out one common aspect of astronomical images.
They are often reversed. Flip the image vertically and look again, perhaps? _____________________

If that is the hand of God it figures he's a dumb jock. That's clearly one of those giant foam "we're number one" hands. If they zoomed the picture out we'd probably be able to see his beer hat.
