Anyone into MUDs, MUSHes, MUCKs, MOOs, MUGs, MUX and etc?

For anyone not in the know, those are virtual worlds without graphics (except ascii art in some) that one connects to with telnet or a mud client. It's all free :D

There is even a MUSH just like Second life, in that it lets you create anything and earn money (not real money though, silly!) http://8bit.memoryleak.org/

Anyway, am I alone here?

Nope. You're not alone. I used to code for one a long time ago. Text has its allure, but I'd say the percentage of people online who like reading has gone down since.

Like, a million years ago. :) I used to play on many MUSHes, mainly World of Darkness. But like I said, this was a million years ago, before the dawn of our modern graphical versions.
