the Fans on my gfx card (asus9800xt) have been unfunctional for over 2 months now. Last night a strange noise started from my PC.. so I went to investigate, heh.. my Fans came back to life!!! isnt that great!!  trying to use the tiny bit logic in my lil head Im trying to figure out why this happened.. I mean can fans be resurected? whats the bibles stance on this? what the F**k is going on? should I ask the Vatican? (jk) anyways YAY! no more lil white dots on my telescreen when I play SL for more than fifteen seconds!! I can finally start playing HL Episode 1!! I can put the side panel back on!! yay!!!! Richie.

Actually the dead mouse that was blocking them finally rotted enough that it fell to pieces at the bottom of your comp.

I really should do.. but it boggles my mind how fans can go on and off like this, I did remove the card back a few weeks ago and cleaned the fans as best I could.. they could turn without any feeling of being choked up with dust.. Funny enough is the second card this has happened to.. RMA'd the last one I had (same model) and they returned me this one. but was long before the same thing was happening.. Im annoyed because they have stopped again!! it seems its only when I actually need the fans on (in game/games) that they stop.. I just logged out of SL now cause my screen started getting th white dots of doom.. and I just noticed as I type this they came back on.. annoying!!
