Woke me up this morning, I live about 15 miles away and I can see the plumes of smoke from here.

Take more than an exploding fuel depot to wake me up (plus I live in West London).
Apparently the whole place is a complete mess, buildings destroyed, but there weren't many people on site at that time of the morning so not many hurt. There'll be a million cameraphone videos hitting the news organisations already. |

My son heard it here in Berkshire. I slept through it, as I tend to do. We are currently getting a lot of grey cloud coming from the north-east, which I take it is high-altitude smoke. Nothing too untoward at the moment, though.

It woke us up, we live approx 40 miles away, just the other side of Aylesbury. Can't see any smoke from here but think wind is in wrong direction.
