What happens when you forget to check that your gun is unloaded, and fail to keep the business end pointed in a safe direction?

This, that's what.

Always play safe, people.

I am surprised he didn't include a pic of the huge brown stains on the back of his pants.

I bet the idiot with the gun was doing "Mr. Quick Draw" in the mirror. I am not much of one for gun control, but you know, IQ tests before buying might not be such a bad idea....

There's four basic rules of gun safety:

1. All guns are always considered "loaded." Period.
2. Never point a gun at anything you're not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you're sighted on the target.
4. Be sure of your target, and what's behind it.

The bozo with the Magnum broke at least two of them, and you could argue that he must have broken all four. This could easily have been a tragic error on his part.

You don't have to pass an IQ test to buy a gun, but most states which issue concealed-carry permits require you to take a gun-safety course before applying. It's a good idea in any case.

"You talkin' to me?"
"You talkin' to me?"
"You talkin' to me?"
"Well, who the hell else are you talkin' to?"
"You talkin' to me? Well, I'm the only one here."
"Who the f--k do you think you're talkin' to? Oh yeah?"

(Gun goes off. Tosses gun out window, whistles nervously like nothing hapened.)
