So I was looking around the SecondLife.com website and found a link for internet speed test. I ran it and was shocked by the results. Is it possible my connection could be this fast?

Nope, your bandwidth is likely not that high as the method used to measure it is too brief to get an accurate reading and it tests your connectivity to a singular server somewhere else. This is merely an advertisement for the linked "faster" provider; actual throughput testing is difficult to do in general, requires huge datasets and multiple reference points - this advertisement has none of those properties.
As an example, the "files" read by this test could be cached by your ISP's web proxy and you'd never be able to tell. I could go into more detail but it is kind of boring. _____________________
