Some company was insuring women against a virgin birth for the second coming recently too.

"Of the 75 claims that have been filed since FaithGuard was launched, none has sparked worries of fraud..."
Suuuuuure! Christians don't drink alcohol. Never drink, not a drop... It seems like a well intentioned insurance plan, but I can't help suspecting that the company is very naive. People will lie to save a buck. |

"A lot of our business is coming from referrals," he said. Good grammar, too. Seriously: I'm surprised by the way threads on this forum so quickly become attacks on specific people or religion. I find this especially interesting when I consider the fact that the people doing most of the attacking of someone else's beliefs are the same people who say "I should be free to believe whatever I want." I have noticed a rise lately in products targeted at religious people. Watching tv with my daughter, I see a lot of "Kids Praise" albums and the like. I'm seeing more and more "mainstream" products that are targeting churchgoers. What I find myself wondering is this: how much of this is truely inspired by Christian beliefs, and how much of it is just targeted marketing. It's really no different than McDonald's or Wal-Mart using Hispanic models in the advertising in largely Hispanic markets, or the NBA's "gangster culture". So this is another form of targeted marketing. I dont' see why it merits ridicule. |

I wonder how many policies were "mysteriously" canceled on 6-5-06?

Is the coverage in effect when you are in route to a synagogue?

Is the coverage in effect when you are in route to a synagogue? I believe so. They only blatantly discriminate against atheists and agnostics, otherwise it would clearly be illegal. ![]() _____________________
